Administrative services

 

The service of providing information about archive activities and stored documents allows service recipients to receive information about documents stored by state archives and other institutions and information about archive activities.

Information and documents to be provided by the individual

A free-form request (if the recipient of the service applies in writing), which must contain the person's name, surname, place of residence (if a natural person applies) or name, code, office address (if a legal entity applies), contact details for maintaining communication.

Requests can be submitted orally, in writing (by directly coming to the archive, sent by post or by courier), by e-mail to [email protected] or through the Electronic Archive information system.

Applications submitted electronically must be signed with an electronic signature.

Requests are answered in the manner in which the request was submitted, if the recipient of the service does not wish to receive a response in another way.

Duration of service provisionVerbal requests from individuals are processed immediately if possible. In other cases, the administrative service is provided within 20 working days from the start of the administrative procedure.
The price of providing the serviceThe service is provided free of charge.

The service of issuing documents confirming certain legal facts allows service recipients to receive certificates, copies of documents confirming work experience and/or salary for pension calculation.

Information and documents to be provided by the individual

Application (the application must be signed, the person's name(s), surname(s), place of residence (if an individual is applying) or name, code, address of the office (if a legal entity is applying), the name of the institution where the person worked, duties, dates of employment and dismissal, contact details for communication).

A document confirming the identity of the person or its copy if the application is sent by post.

Documents confirming the representation and the identity of the representative or their copies, if the request is sent by post (when the person's representative applies for information about the person).

Requests can be submitted orally, in writing (by directly coming to the archive, sent by post or by courier), by e-mail to [email protected] or through the Electronic Archive information system. If the request is submitted through the Electronic Archive information system, a scanned copy of the document confirming the identity of the person or scanned copies of the documents confirming the identity of the person representing the person is submitted.

Applications submitted electronically must be signed with an electronic signature.

Requests are answered in the manner in which the request was submitted, if the recipient of the service does not wish to receive a response in another way.

Duration of service provisionThe administrative service is provided within 20 working days, 10 working days, 5 working days or, in the case of extreme urgency, within 3 working days or 1 working day from the date of receipt of the request in the archive and payment for the services.

Administrative procedure - mandatory actions performed by the public administration entity (Lithuanian Archives of Literature and Art) when examining a person's complaint or report about the actions, inaction or administrative decisions of the Lithuanian Archives of Literature and Art possibly made by the person specified in the complaint or report, violation of rights and legitimate interests and making a decision regarding the administrative procedure.

Information and documents to be provided by the individual

A signed person's complaint or report, which names the actions, inaction or administrative decision of the public administration entity, which may have violated the rights or legitimate interests of the person.

Other documents or their copies may be attached to a person's complaint or report.

Complaints and reports. which do not indicate the name and surname of the person (name of the legal entity), the address or which are not signed by the person, may not be examined by the decision of the director of the archive or his authorized civil servant.

Complaints and reports are accepted only if submitted in writing (directly after the person arrives at the archive, sent by mail or by courier) and electronically through the E. delivery system (hitps://epristatymas.post.lt) or the archive's e-mail address [email protected].

Applications submitted electronically must be signed with an electronic signature.

Answer (decision of the administrative procedure)The answer (administrative procedure decision) to a person's complaint or notification is provided when the person comes directly to collect the answer to the archive, is sent by post (ordinary or electronic), via messenger or through the E. delivery system. The answer sent electronically must be signed by the director of the archive or his authorized civil servant with an electronic signature.
Duration of service provisionThe administrative service is provided within 20 working days from the start of the administrative procedure. When, due to objective reasons, the administrative service cannot be provided within this term, the public administration entity that initiated the administrative procedure may extend the term for providing the administrative service. but no longer than 10 working days.
