Reading room

Documents stored by the Lithuanian Archives of Literature and Art can be ordered by visiting the reading room or by e-mail [email protected], [email protected], after filling out the document order form.

The chief archivist Rasa Adomavičienė provides information about the work of the Lithuanian Archives of Literature and Art reading room, the procedure for copying and photographing documents, and serves the readers. For the convenience of readers, the reading room is equipped with computerized workstations.

To search for documents, readers can use the Electronic Archive Information System (EAIS), descriptions, as well as fond files, catalogs.

Documents of foundations of individuals and non-governmental organizations accepted for storage under contracts may have restrictions on use. In this case, the reader must obtain permission from the fond transferor to read the documents. Fond documents of state institutions can be used in a general manner.

At the request of readers, analogue and digital copies of documents are made in the archive, after paying for their production in accordance with the established procedure. Price list.
