The employee performs the following functions:
- Manages accounting in accordance with the Accounting Law of the Republic of Lithuania and other legal acts;
- Provides accounting information and prepares reports, upon request - accounting documents and registers for the management of the archive, auditors, the management of the Department of Archives of Lithuania under the Government of the Republic of Lithuania and the department of finance and accounting, tax administrators, state and municipal institutions;
- Prepares drafts of archive cost estimates, compiles and revises archive cost estimates in accordance with the distribution of archive allocations approved by the Lithuanian Archives Department under the Government of the Republic of Lithuania;
- Provides proposals and advice to the director of the archive on the selection of accounting policy, taking into account specific conditions and accounting requirements;
- Performs preliminary financial control based on the submitted documents;
- Prepares the archive's financial reporting and submits it to the Finance and Accounting Department of the Lithuanian Archives Department under the Government of the Republic of Lithuania in accordance with the procedure and deadlines established by them;
- Signs or signs accounting documents, contracts, estimates, certificates, reports and other documents;
- Performs other functions established by legal acts, orders of the head of the archive.
The employee must meet the following special requirements:
- To know the laws of the Republic of Lithuania, resolutions of the Government of the Republic of Lithuania and other legal acts regulating civil service, labor relations, protection and provision of information, organization and management of accounting and financial control;
- Have a good knowledge of the Law on Documents and Archives of the Republic of Lithuania, other legal acts regulating the management of documents;
- Have at least a higher non-university education or an equivalent education and at least 3 years of experience in financial and accounting work;
- Be able to collect, systematize, summarize information and draw conclusions;
- Prepare archive financial documents; Independently plan and organize your activities;
- Fluently teach ideas in writing and orally in the national language, know how to work with a computer, know the requirements for the preparation of legal acts and other documents;
- Be dutiful, hardworking, able to communicate.
